This empirical study investigates the role of artificial intelligence (AI) in transforming corporate learning through microlearning and adaptive skill ecosystems. Drawing on narrative data collected from 45 participants across global corporations in technology, finance, healthcare, and manufacturing sectors, the study explores how AI-powered learning platforms personalize training, enhance engagement, and facilitate continuous skill development. Findings reveal that adaptive systems, leveraging real-time analytics and learner profiling, significantly improve knowledge retention, learner autonomy, and workforce agility. The study also identifies ethical, technological, and cultural challenges associated with implementation, highlighting the need for inclusive design, transparent data practices, and strategic integration. A conceptual framework for AI-driven adaptive skill ecosystems is proposed, illustrating the dynamic interplay between personalized learning, organizational outcomes, and continuous feedback. These insights provide practical guidance for corporate leaders and learning and development professionals seeking to optimize AIenabled learning strategies and foster a future-ready workforce.
