This current paper examines how Gurukul pedagogy, which is an Indian traditional system of learning that focuses on mentorship, experiential learning and holistic development, can be integrated to contemporary corporate training systems. Although modern corporate learning is generally more structured in terms of its modules, e-learning, and performance measures, it does not always involve a personalized mentorship process, ethical foundation, and immersive learning. This study undertakes a comparative study between the Gurukul based and the modern corporate training methods on the basis of surveys, interviews and case studies to bring forth the strengths and weaknesses of both methods. The results indicate that employee engagement, knowledge retention, and skill development in corporate environments might be improved by applying the Gurukul concepts (close relationships between mentors and mentees, project-based learning, and knowledge-driven education). This research paper offers practical solutions that organizations can implement in order to use a hybrid learning strategy to not only develop their professional competence but also personal development.
