In volatile markets, organizations rarely fail because they lack plans; they fail because their people cannot adapt fast enough when plans stop matching reality. This paper examines how “transforming management” becomes practical through an interdisciplinary lens that integrates leadership studies, organizational resilience, workplace learning, and social science perspectives on trust. Using a case-based design, we develop an applied transformation narrative around Halavat Food Industry (treated here as an illustrative company case built from limited public signals and common food-industry constraints). The case follows Halavat’s shift from reactive firefighting toward a capability-based resilience model: sensing disruptions early, making decisions with psychological safety rather than blame, and scaling digital routines (dashboards, traceability, and cross-functional coordination) that make adaptation repeatable. We argue that the transformation succeeds only when management systems (KPIs, governance, process redesign) are paired with education-oriented mechanisms (micro-learning, on-the-job coaching, and reflective problem-solving) that convert individual know-how into organizational capability. The paper contributes a practical framework and a set of implementation steps—leadership behaviors, learning architecture, and cultural safeguards— that align with the conference theme of integrating interdisciplinary knowledge for a changing world.
