Any device that may be worn on the body to integrate computing with daily duties and activities is considered wearable technology. A vast array of tools and apps are part of the technology, which aids in gathering and presenting mobility, health, and other sensory data in real time. The increasing adoption of wearable technology is influenced by diverse user requirements and the rapid advancement of digital technologies. A major factor contributing to the adoption of wearable technology is the growing focus on personal health and fitness. Devices such as fitness trackers and smartwatches allow users to monitor physical activity and vital signs, thereby supporting the maintenance of a healthy lifestyle. Wearable technology facilitates the establishment and attainment of fitness objectives, which can enhance overall health outcomes. Wearable devices deliver real-time information, enabling users to check the time, receive notifications, and monitor health metrics without accessing a smartphone or navigating multiple applications. This immediate data accessibility improves efficiency and responsiveness in daily activities. The data collected by these wearables is then analysed using machine learning algorithms. Lots of inventions are being made in this field to improve the health of the society. In this article we have made an attempt to analyse various wearables that are used in the health sector.
